Anna Baldwin - Library Director

Anna was hired as the Library Director in January of 2023. Prior to becoming Director, she was the library assistant for five years. Anna has been a long-term resident of Maxwell and also works at the Collins-Maxwell MS/HS & Elementary School library. Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her family, loving on her dogs, and being outdoors - when the Iowa weather is nice, of course! Her favorite things about the library is having the ability to make connections with patrons and putting a smile on their faces. Every year she looks forward to the Summer Reading Program and can't to share her passion for the Maxwell Public Library with all the young, friendly faces as she continues with her role as Maxwell's Library Director.

Anette Sult - Library Assistant

Anette was hired as library assistant in November 2023. Anette and her husband, Dave are long time residents of Maxwell. She recently retired from Baxter Community School District and decided that a small part time gig at the library would be a nice addition to her days. Anette's favorite thing to do is spending time with her 2 children and 6 grandchildren. They can be found playing outside, riding around in the golf cart, or camping.  Anette is excited to be hosting story time on Monday's and Thursday's at 10am. She's so creative and loves hosting fun games and crafts here at the library for our patrons. Stop in and have a cup of coffee with her!
